My name is Nicole Hickford and I am a portrait photographer based in the Manawatu. I have completed my Bachelors Degree Majoring in Photography and I am excited to delve into the world of professional photography - being newly introduced to newborn photography and loving it!

I have loved photography since a young age. It had always been about the creativity. The more I learnt the more I was astounded by what you can do with an image. Working through my degree, with the late nights and no time for a break, I realised something that the most important thing at the end of it all, is people. That's what inspired me to do portraiture.

I want to work with you to create portraits that you can look back on and admire. I want you to feel comfortable and beautiful and fall in love with your images. Because when it comes to it, self-confidence is crucial.
